Stree 2 is an upcoming Indian horror-comedy film set to release on August 15, 2024. It’s the sequel to the popular 2018 film Stree. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, this sequel continues the story with more supernatural elements and comedic twists.
Stree 2 follows the events of the original film, where the mysterious spirit known as “Stree” terrorized a small town. In this sequel, the original gang returns to deal with a new supernatural threat known as the “Sarkata Bhoot” – a headless ghost from a local folklore said to be the spirit of a British officer seeking his lost head.

- Shraddha Kapoor as the unnamed lady with a mysterious connection to the supernatural
- Pankaj Tripathi as Rudra, a paranologist
- Aparshakti Khurana as Bittu
- Abhishek Banerjee as Jana
Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia joins the cast as Shama, a character introduced in the first film’s song “Aaj Ki Raat”. Her role is expected to be pivotal to the storyline.
